I’ve been playing a bit of Skyrim lately. Definitely not the type of game I would usually pick up, I’m generally more of a Call of Duty / Halo / Gears of War kind of guy…
But my god this game is good! It reminds me of how my brothers and I would play games when we were younger, huddling around our tiny computer monitor screaming “DID YOU SEE THAT??” every time something epic happened.
Bethesda did a pretty good job of making you feel like a 24/7 badass. I spend most of my time just walking dramatically (though somewhat aimlessly), circling the camera around in 3rd person and imagining I’m in 300.
Here’s a quick painting I did of my current Skyrim character, Wilbur. He was looking a little too much like Jesus for a while there, so I gave him an axe. Sorted.
